Healthy chocolate chia milk
I really LOVE the breakfast, it is my favorite meal of the day.
I like to change my breakfast often : sweet, salted, hot, cold… And when I don’t have a lot of time in the morning, I always do this healthy chocolate chia milk because it is really quick to do, very good to eat, and I will be sure I won’t be hungry in the morning. Plus, it reminds me the chocolate milk I was drinking when I was a child
For 1 person :
- 1,5 cup milk (plain milk, almond milk, or any vegetal milk)
- 1/2 table spoon cocoa powder (with no sugar)
- 1/2 table spoon agave nectar (or sugar, or milk, or maple syrup)
- 1 table spoon chia seeds
The recipe is very quick !
Mix the milk and the cocoa powder, and warm it in the microwave or in a pan (to help the milk and the cocoa powder to merge). Then, add the agave nectar and the chia seeds. Blend and put it in the fridge for the night.
If you prefer to do this healthy chocolate milk in the morning, then you just have to wait 15 minutes to let the chia seeds expand their size as expected.
